| Sonic-themed playground opens in Brazil |
| The character is being used as the theme for a playground in recognition of Sonic’s 30th birthday this year. The Sonic Adventure Playground has opened in the Vila Velha shopping mall in Espirito Santo, Brazil. The playground uses the Green Hill Zone as the backdrop for the setting with cut-outs of Sonic, Tails and Dr. Robotnik. The playground itself has a wide range of slides, rings and tubes familiar with this type of location. The location has surprised many in that it has opened at a time when Brazil is in the top three countries of the world with coronavirus infections. (2021/03/25) |
