Nanjing Happy Valley was officially opened on November 11, 2020 and welcomed visitors on November 12, 2020. Being one of the major tourism projects of Jiangsu Province’s “13th Five-Year Plan”, Nanjing Happy Valley has invested about US$3 billion, located in Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, which is regarded as the new landmark in Nanjing’s tourism industry. Moreover, Nanjing Happy Valley also denotes how Nanjing tourism megaprojects have taken their initial shape and brings new vitality into the economic and social development of Nanjing.
There are six parks featuring different cultural characteristics in Nanjing Happy Valley, including Happy Time, Abandoned War Boundary, Dessert Kingdom, Steam Age, Big Miracle of Ocean, and Forest Mysterious Area. The designs of theses parks have merged the steampunk elements, aiming to create an immersive amusement area from the aspects of environment building, theatrical performances, dining & shops, and so on. Additionally, the park will keep launching other series of amusement products, such as steam-mainland themed parades and steam-themed carnivals, to bring more exciting experiences to visitors.
