The Mazaya Marina Plaza in Lusail will have a new project. The waterfront project is located next to Katara Towers, the waterfront project will feature a number of restaurants and cafés, as well as plenty of shops, including a new hypermarket.

Entertainment wise, there will be several children’s playgrounds, plus a cinema.

It is understood that this first part of the project is expected to be completed in July 2022.

Then, during the second phase of the project, 320 furnished apartments will be built, part of which will be run as hotel apartments.

There will also be a number of gardens built, plus sports fields, a swimming pool, a spa and a gym. This part of the project should be complete by June 2023.

Managing director of Mazaya Real Estate Development, which is overseeing the construction work, Eng. Ibrahim Jaham Al-Kuwari said that “despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company worked diligently during 2020 to develop a business plan that combines the development of new projects and the acquisition of revenue generating completed real estate properties”.

In total, the two phases of the project should cost around QR600 million(around USD 165 million).
