Woo-hoo, built by Immersive Experience in Al Quoz, Dubai, opened in November 2020. It is an edutainment museum aimed at kids up to the age of 12. All the usual COVID-19 safety measures will be in place including temperature checks, limited numbers, social distancing, masks for kids over four and plenty of hand sanitizing. All measures were taken so that adults and children who come to play here can feel comfortable.
Woo-hoo promises a fun blend of education, discover, development and play across 10 themed galleries. Each gallery hosts cool interactive exhibits designed to spark children’s curiosity, imagination and innovation whilst delivering clear learning objectives. In addition, there will be various extra activities laid for little ones including classes and camps, while there will be programnmes for parents to sign up to as well.
Commenting on the brand-new children's edutainment centre, co-founder and managing partner at Immersive Experiences, Mohamed Ali said: “Now, more than ever, we know the parenting community is still navigating around all the educational issues for Covid-19 and we believe our venue not only allows children to play and have fun, it also ensures that they are learning key skills as they go."
Ali continued: "We aren’t another soft play experience – all of our 10 galleries, and the hands-on exhibits within them, have been curated with our key learning objectives in mind; move, imagine, explore, examine and connect. Through art, engineering, music and technology, children will be able to develop a wide range of skills at woo-hoo! including critical thinking and creativity." (2020/12/28)
