Shangqiu Fantawild Animation Park, the first large-scale high-tech theme park in Shangqiu, Henan Province, China, is expected to be completed in April 2021. The park is located near Urban and Rural Integration Demonstration Zone Zhouji Kongge Village and Hetan Village, Shangqiu, Henan Province, north to Songcheng Road, south to Huashang Avenue, west to Dongsha River and east to Jiguang Expressway, covers an area of 2,000 mu(1.3 sq.km), with a total investment of ¥3bn ($439m), of which have completed investment ¥500m ($73m) in 2018. At present, the demolition work of Demonstration Zone Zhouji Kongge Village has been basically completed, and part of the demolition of Hetan village has been completed, and the construction of Shangqiu Fantawild Animation Park is just around the corner. After its completion, the park will feature a world-class level with an area of 1,000 mu(666,667sq.m) and the annual reception capacity of 3 million people, further helping Shangqiu accelerate the construction of the national regional central city.
