This year, GTI invited SAPAR, an Italian national association as well as the organizer of ENADA expo to visit GTI Asia China expo with great honor. Mr. Paolo Dalla Pria, the president of SAPAR, Mr. Claudio Dalla Pria, the adviser as well as Mrs. Sara Galmazzi, the press officer of SAPAR and director of Automat magazine as SAPAR’s representatives attended the show. In order to explore the Italian market, learn more about the new Italian regulations and strengthen the cooperation, Game Time International (GTI) made an interview with Mr. Paolo Dalla Pria. During the interview, Mr. Dalla Pria mentioned that various kinds of product in the expo that gave him a deep impression. And he thinks that kiddie rides may be suitable for the Italian market. Mr. Dalla Pria also gave his valuable suggestions to GTI and said that next year it will be possible for SAPAR to set up a booth in GTI.

Every year, GTI Expo is very big with a lot of factories and new products.
GTI: Is it your first time to GTI Asia China Expo? How do you feel about it? Compared to overseas expos, which part do you think is GTI’s brightest spot?
Paolo: No, it’s our fifth time! Every year the show is very big and there are a lot of factories and new products; this year, there are many many products in the expo and the prices are cheap and the quality is good. I think these are the brightest spots of GTI expo.

GTI: How about the China-made products in the Italian market? After visiting GTI Expo, which product do you think is much more suitable for the Italian market? Why?
Paolo: In Italy, the amusement industry has been blocked for years because there are no laws only for this sector. Amusement devices are compared to gambling machines. We had seen a lot of beautiful machines; in Italy the most appreciated product is Ice Man by Superwings Animation Technology Co., which is indicated by Italian buyers as the best machine of 2017. But, at GTI there are a lot of kiddie rides that are beautiful and can be suitable for the Italy market because a lot of children love to use them.
GTI: Last year, the Italy gaming industry drafted a new regulation, would you like to tell us more details about its progress? Dose the industry have any measures to deal with it?
Paolo: In Italy we have a lot of problems, both in the gambling and amusement sectors. For example, there is a new law that established that at the end of April 2019, slot machines will be reduced by 30% and the game points will be halved. Some Italian regions have forbidden the use of redemption tickets for children under the age of 18. Moreover, gambling taxes are also getting higher, many companies are closing and so many people will lose their job. People will then no longer invest in the amusement sector because there are uncertain rules.

ENADA Spring Expo is a great show in Italy.
GTI: This year, ENADA Roma Expo will be held on 17-19, October, would you like to tell us something about it? Compared to the last edition, are there any differences?
Paolo: There are 3,000 sq.m with 1 hall and 40 stands in the 45th ENADA Roma Expo. The ENADA Spring Expo in March is much bigger, with amusement and other sessions. And it is the biggest show in Europe. SAPAR is constantly active at the political and associative level on the amusement side, which is also focusing on the latest ENADA: both in the March issue of Rimini and in what will take place in Rome in October we will once again make our route explicit for the relaunch of pure entertainment and aggregation sites aimed at society.
GTI: ENADA has been successfully held for 44 editions, would you like to share some key elements of holding such a successful expo?
Paolo: We always try to improve the Expo with innovation and seminary. And, law is very important for a successful expo.

GTI: GTI Asia China Expo will welcome its 10th anniversary ceremony next year, would you like to share your wishes to GTI?
Paolo: Congratulations to GTI for your glorious and successful story!
GTI: Would you like to give some suggestions to the 10th GTI Asia China Expo?
Paolo: For me, GTI is the best expo in the world except for Wi-Fi and bathrooms. As an international expo, I think setting a press room for media is much better.
GTI: Will SAPAR consider to set up a booth in GTI Asia China Expo next year? And would you like to invite your members to take a delegation to visit GTI Asia China Expo or invite them to set up a booth next year?
Paolo: Sure, SAPAR will set up in GTI Asia China Expo next year! And as for the members, next year is possible. Because this year, the time is very short.
