Corporate President and CEO Jason Chen of Taiwan’s leading computer maker, Acer, revealed that the IMAX VR Center jointly developed by Acer, IMAX and the well-known Swedish game company Starbreeze AB is likely to come to Taiwan.  Though the time remains uncertain, Acer has expressed its hope to IMAX that one of the first 15 cities in the world to possess the IMAX VR Experience Center should include a city in Taiwan in order to let Taiwanese audiences get to experience cinema-class VR soon.  The IMAX VR display and experience center has made inroads into Los Angeles, USA, and this first IMAX VR Center in the world uses the Acer-invested StarVR virtual reality headsets only.
