Shanghai’s first large outdoor children’s park Andersen’s Fairy Tale Park has now entered into testing and has partly opened to some families who can experience the park for the first time. As the officially licensed park named Andersen after the Kingdom of Denmark, the Fairy Tale Park will own the first Andersen Museum in China. According to owner Qi Ruizhen, the park will have a soft opening at the end of this year and officially open to the public in 2017.
Shanghai Andersen’s Fairy Tale Park, is the first large outdoor children’s park in Shanghai, and will be divided into 7 theming zones and open to the public in 2017.
Designed with theming elements from Andersen’s classic stories, the park will be divided into 7 theming zones, which are Tin Soldier Square, The Thumb Girl Adventure, Wish Town, Emperor’s Garden, Mermaid Harbour, The Ugly Duckling Village, and Swan County. Castles are at every corner full of all kinds of indoor amusement equipment. One of the highlights, the Undersea Adventure was designed specially for children where little kids can slip, climb, roll, swing, jump and rock. Besides, the park creates an integrated area featuring amusement, sports, intelligence and fitness. What’s more, with light, sound, electricity and shadows, visitors can watch the classic fairy tale story of The Little Mermaid though the medium of high technology in “Children’s Dream and Future” Area.
