Spain’s fair ground (2016/10/24) |
GTI Magazine took the opportunity to experience what’s the trend of Barcelona’s game and amusement industry while taking part in EAS 2016 and was impressed by the vitality of the fair ground business. Fair grounds are very common to see in Barcelona’s communities and are usually operated with several independent projects each with a respective owner like trampoline, soft playground, shooting game, track car, carousel or carnival game. The admission to these fair grounds usually costs 1 to 3 Euros and have become the most popular FECs especially in Sunday when all the family are taking a day off. Since the project is operated by the private sector, the revenue is dependent on the project's popularity, which in another way has become an inner motivation to upgrade the facilities. Besides, coin-pushers are the popular entertainment in most of the bars and restaurants; and the above-mentioned venues are allowed to place one to three machines to entertain customers before their drinks or meals are served or after they have had their meals. GTI also found that video games are very hot in Barcelona.
Trampoline and soft playground in Barcelona’s street fair ground are very popular.
