YuMe World, which already operates a venue in Newcastle, UK has now unveiled plans for a site in County Durham. Set to open in early 2024, a social media post says that the new venue will include the latest arcade games, as well as a restaurant. The venue’s website promises the new site will feature virtual reality attractions and run on a cashless system. YuMe’s Newcastle venue includes a range of games such as Mario Kart, Super Bikes 3 and Capto Cranes.

Brace yourselves for a world of non-stop fun and excitement featuring cutting-edge arcade games. A spokesperson for YuMe World added: "Whether you want to race like a Formula 1 driver, triumph in a zombie showdown or lose yourself in the world of virtual reality, at YuMe World, your dreams can become a reality."
