“IAAPA 2023 was truly an unforgettable event! A big thank you to all guests who visited us during the four-day show; it was a pleasure to see you all there! We are genuinely humbled by your positive feedback that Sega Amusements had the most impressive line-up of games at the show,” commented Paul Williams, CEO at SEGA Amusements.
Apex Rebels truly stole the spotlight as a showstopper. Players and operators were raving about it, calling it one of the slickest arcade racing games on the market, with gameplay that won them over instantly. This game is definitely a must-watch in 2024, as operators are already looking to make space for it in their arcades and FECs. Hyper Cross debuted alongside Apex Rebels, exciting operators with its innovative approach to motion games. The new snowmobile experience captivated players and operators alike.
Another jewel that attracted large crowds was Zombies Ready Deady Go! Players are calling it the best derby-styled, fast-paced game they've ever played, while operators say that this game is precisely what the redemption category has been missing in recent times. Also in the redemption category was BOP IT! Battle. Players and operators loved the new competitive twist on the original hit BOP IT! Arcade.
Other big names that attracted attention were Ballzania, a classic pinball-style redemption game with a new twist, and the Capto family of prize games, particularly the new Capto Candy sweet crane. The brand-new gradient lighting had operators talking about the new, fresh look of the Capto family and how it has helped further establish them as the most attractive cranes on the market.
In the social entertainment category, Augmented Reality Darts was exhibited with brand new camera & instant replay features, taking the most immersive darts product on the market to new levels of social interaction and enjoyment - making it a must-have at any social entertainment, modern arcade or FEC.
As always, it was our pleasure to present our latest and best games at IAAPA, and we would like to thank the IAAPA association for organising a record-breaking 36,000 attendees show this year.
