Chuck E. Cheese, America’s famous children's entertainment chain enterprise, has announced the completion of its 200th remodel as part of its ongoing brand transformation project. “Within the next three years, we expect all our fun centers across the country to be upgraded with our latest vision of the brand, said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment.
Our remodelled fun centers offer families more space for play and through our game enhancement program we are introducing new games year-round; it’s more entertainment than ever before.” The refreshed locations feature new interactive dance floors, as well as video walls and screens with audio to provide a more immersive experience. This time, technology upgrades include a tap-to-play game card system to replace tokens, e-tickets to replace paper tickets, contactless payments, self-service kiosks and mobile table ordering.
The company is remodeling 100 sites nationwide this year. “Chuck E. Cheese has helped families create lifelong memories for 45 years, so we are excited to bring to life an elevated entertainment experience to this beloved brand for the next generation of kids,” added McKillips. Last year, Chuck E. Cheese upgraded all 10 of its locations in South Florida.
These now offer around 15 new games, as well as the new interactive dance floor. CEC Entertainment, a leader in family entertainment, operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese FECs and more than 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues. It has locations in 46 states and 19 international venues. (2023/02/13)
