Parque de la Costa is the largest amusement park in Argentina, located on a 13-hectare site in Tigre, Buenos Aires. It begins its reconversion plan to add new attractions such as new children's rides and virtual reality simulators, driven by the reactivation of the industry, after the blow it suffered due to the restrictions imposed to contain the advance of Covid-19. After registering a record number of visitors, the park is preparing for the winter holidays, a key moment for the sector. Its new owner, Fénix Entertainment Group, will invest US$6 million in the incorporation of new attractions, on the occasion of the park's 25th anniversary. New features include virtual reality simulators, a roller coaster and revamped shows. In May, the inauguration of Space Prison, a virtual reality game, and a new karting circuit will take place, which will have the exclusive sponsorship of Axion. In June, six new rides for children and more virtual reality simulators will be added to the classic offer of 70 attractions. According to the general manager of the company, Walter Álvarez, the latter are "a product highly demanded by the adolescent segment." In July, the Peter Pan show will premiere. It will complement the offer of live shows already available, such as Zombie Invasion, Braulio Bear, the Movie Musical and Clayface. Likewise, the project is being finalized to add a new dark roller coaster which combines unique ride thrills and immersive 4D interactive action and it will be inaugurated as the closing of the park's 25th anniversary celebration, in May 2023.
