Ireland could get new inflatable water park |
More and more water parks are opening to welcome visitors for the upcoming summer. West Lake Aqua Park, located at Portumna, Galway, Ireland, is seeking approval from the county council for an adventure facility consisting of an inflatable floating obstacle course. Galway County Council is due to make a decision on the planning application by West Lake Aqua Park by June 1 of this year. “West Lake Aqua Park is an inflatable aqua park over water with interchangeable features of varying difficulty levels to keep customers of all ages from six upwards entertained. Whether alone or in a group, climbing, sliding, jumping, rolling and running along the course, customers are sure to have a memorable experience. Under the watchful eye of our lifeguards on duty, customers work their way along the course with a session typically lasting an hour.” documents with the planning application state. The park would be located at the Portumna swimming area. Other than the inflatable course, the developer also plans to install a visitor check in, and changing area. The park will operate from May through to September, running at weekends in May, June, and September, and seven days a week during the height of the summer. (2022/05/13)
