Timezone opens its 50th store in India |
Major Asian FEC operator Timezone has opened a new venue in Chennai, India. The company, part of The Entertainment and Education Group (TEEG) that operates 315 locations internationally, has opened the FEC at the VR Mall and it will be the group’s 50th venue in India. The location covers 9,000sq.ft and contains VR attractions, four lanes of bowling and a range of arcade games. Introduced for the first time in India will be the Arkadia Role Play VR, MOTO VR Biking, Asphalt 9 and Minecraft Dungeon, along with cricket and bumper cars attractions. Said Sonaal Chopra, group CEO at TEEG, said: “We have seen the Timezone brand grow in both numbers and popularity in India, as we bring fun memories to our guests. The support that we are receiving is encouraging.” In the future, TEEG will invest in aggressively growing the brand with the opportunity in the edutainment market in the Asia Pacific region.
