Entertainment centers reopened in Phnom Penh |
As the pandemic is well contained, Cambodia on November 30 allowed all karaoke parlors, nightclubs, bars, and other entertainment venues in capital city Phnom Penh to reopen after a long halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the local regulation, business owners must strictly comply with the standard operating procedure, assigning staff members to inspect the Covid-19 vaccination cards of customers and screen their temperature at the entrance. They must adhere to the measures include mask-wearing, hand hygiene, physical distancing, avoiding confined and enclosed spaces, avoiding crowded spaces, and avoiding touching each other, related government official said, adding that they must also clean and disinfect their facilities regularly. The latest move came after most of the population in the South-East Asian nation had been vaccinated against Covid-19 and the number of new infections had seen a significant drop. (2021/12/09)
