Funscape World, one of the largest indoor FECs in Bahrain, has opened its doors. The centre covers 2,214sq.m and will become a new leisure and entertainment option for the citizens in Bahrain. It will also shortly be used for a summer camp following the summer season, including entertainment and educational programme for children, ice skating, football, rope course and other activities.

It is at the Mall of Dilmunia and has four interior themed areas: Funscape Adventure, Funscape Ice, Funscape Sports and the latest, Funscape Play. The four zones combine to anchor the mall on both the ground and first floors.

The CEO of the mall, Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, said: “Our Play zone adds another avenue of fun to the in-mall experiences. It will raise the bar for indoor entertainment within Bahrain; it is ideal for age groups.” The deputy CEO, Rebecca Charlotte Arnold, said: “We had a wonderful response when we opened the first four zones; now the Play zone offers a variety of arcade games, a drop tower, roller coaster, bumper cars, midway games, VR games, video, simulators, redemption, soft play and a toddler play zone.” (2021/07/22)
