The US operator, Spare Time Entertainment, will open its 16th FEC at Pineville, North Carolina, USA in August this year and its 18th FEC at Cedar Rapids, Iowa in November this year.

It is understood that the company’s 16th location at Pineville will have tenpin bowling, laser tag, escape rooms and a large arcade with F&B facilities on-site.

It is located in a former sporting goods shop opposite the Carolina Place Mall. It will cover 5,000sq.ft and the bowling facility will have 14 lanes. The game room will take up 10,000sq.ft of the overall floor space. As for the company’s 18th location at Cedar Rapids will have 80 arcade games, 18 bowling lanes and F&B in a 60,000sq.ft new facility, plus laser tag and a redemption counter, three escape rooms and a video wall.

It is also the company’s second location in Iowa, and the other venue was announced as Des Moines, due to open in October this year. (2021/07/20)
