Playmind Studios is an entertainment studio in Montreal, Canada. In the past 17 years, it has delivered turnkey projects from conception to operation in the FEC business. A new generation of carnival games for the amusement industry and family entertainment centres, trampoline parks and LBEs has been launched by Playmind Studios. The portfolio is named Playbox and comes in different formats for indoor, mobile and outdoor venues. Players on Playbox have fun and interact physically by throwing at mobile targets on specially designed games on a large LED screen.

There are a number of games available on the system, chosen by button, and the company has pledged to deliver new games every year so that operators can constantly update the content of their units. Currently there are 12 games available. There is a Playbox leaderboard with the top 10 highest scoring teams so the system can be used for tournaments and encourage reply.  AMD, the distribution company in Sydney, Australia, agreed that the sales are good and said: “Most FECs, pubs, clubs, cinemas and bowling centres are operating under different rules now, with staff wearing masks and customers keeping two metres apart, but at least they are operating.” (2021/06/15)
