New arcade on US East Coast opened to grab business opportunities |
The arcade, Lucky Snake, opened in a lively and grand atmosphere in May. It was built by Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein, CEO of Tower Investments. The new arcade and family entertainment complex occpies the former casino floor at the Showboat. The arcade includes a sports bar with a boxing ring, e-sports gaming area, live entertainment and a “speakeasy”. The sports bar covers 25,000sq.ft. The arcade covers 100,000sq.ft and is rich with memorabilia as some of the games in action date back to the 1970s, including Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and Star Wars. It also houses the world’s largest crane game, occupying a floor-to-ceiling spot. There is also mini-golf and duckpin bowling. Besides this new entertainment complex, Blatstein is now planning to develop a $100m water park adjacent to the property. (2021/05/24)
