Two regions in the UK gradually relaxing lockdown |
With the rolling out of vaccines and the situation of the epidemic has been controlled gradually, many regions in the UK have been lifted restrictions. Scotland may be reopening arcades, bingo halls and other indoor entertainments from May 17. Other non-essential retail, including pubs and restaurants - but with alcohol restricted to outdoors – has been reopened from April 26. The Welsh Parliament has decided that pubs, restaurants and cafes are to reopen outside in May. Theme parks reopened from April 26, and leisure centres and gyms from May 17, pubs, cafes and restaurants indoors probably at the end of May. In England, cinemas and children's play areas indoors can open, hopefully, from May 17. (2021/05/03)
