Belgian amusement parks association takes measures to reopen attractions |
Belgoparks, the association of Belgian theme parks, is taking initiatives to safely reopen amusement parks in Belgium. It mainly focuses on limited visitor numbers and guaranteeing social distancing. The health of visitors and employees is a top priority for all parks. Amusement parks in Belgium, such as Bellewaerde in Ypres, are also hard hit by the coronavirus crisis. The parks have therefore drawn up a list of measures within the umbrella organization Belgoparks. In this way they want to guarantee that everyone can have fun in a safe way during a family trip. That will of course only happen after the green light from the government and the National Security Council. Bellewaerde already announced earlier that it is preparing for the reopening. The members of Belgoparks emphasize that they constantly follow the situation and the advice of the government, the National Security Council and various experts and on the basis of this will adjust or adapt their actions where necessary.
