On May 21st , the opening of its 13th edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia, the leading Asian trade event and conference for the gaming and entertainment industry was successfully held at The Venetian, Macao. Renowned as a key gaming and entertainment business hub across the continent, G2E Asia is the must attend marketplace for the Asian gaming-entertainment industry, offering a one-stop platform to the industry professionals to network, forge fresh connections, source new products and solutions, and gain a deeper insight into the latest global industry trends.

At 10:30 am, the opening ceremony was officially launched at hall C. Mr. Michael Cheng, the President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China addressed: “G2E Asia is the region’s one-stop destination for forward-thinking gaming and entertainment decision makers and suppliers. This year, we are gearing up for a new bi-level exhibition space, together with new innovative segments and offerings, which will stretch across 34,000 sq.m to accommodate a projected 18,000 visitors from Asia and abroad.” “The Intergrated Resort Technology & Business Solutions segment, which launched 2 years ago, has been further expanded, facilitating China’s ongoing “diversified economy” policy,”  mentioned by Mr. Cheng.

Mr. Miller, the President & CEO of American Gaming Association (AGB) also expressed : “ The industrial association will make sure to focus on the responsible gaming. No one or no institution can be much better to ensure that consumers can take part in the reliable and responsible gaming activities, except for gaming industrial associations. Now, Macao Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has also done a lot in the education industry and the public to correctly conduct gambling activities. It said that the public should hand in hand together to ban the illegal gambling. We not only shut down the illegal operations, but also prevent funding for drug trafficking, human trafficking and other serious offences.

Then, Numerous of honored guests cut the ribbon at the ceremony. With lots of performances, the show officially kicked off. What’s more, the Asia Lottery Forum also made a much-anticipated return to the G2E Asia show floor this year. This was an unrivalled opportunity for over 300 local and international lottery industry experts and operators to network and discuss the latest industry developments in the internet era.

G2E Asia promised to deliver a treasure trove of diverse and targeted onsite activities for conducting business and making new connections.
