California-based MediMation(MMI) is an interactive technology company and a worldwide, leading supplier and manufacturer of patented technology for 4D Motion EFX theaters and seats, including its MX4D Motion EFX technology, with over 300 installations worldwide. The latest one was announced a few weeks ago and it is in Austria, a new country for MMI. Cineplexx Kinobetriebe GmbH cinema chain has partnered with MMI to install a 72 seat MX4D Motion EFX theatre in Graz, Austria’s second largest city. MMI’s Hollywood’s state-of-the-art seats will utilize a full range of motion and effects to enhance Hollywood’s latest releases include wind, fog, strobing, and special effects (leg and neck tickler, air blast, scent, water blast, colpi, back poker and rumbler). “We are excited to work with Cineplexx on our first Austrian installation,” says Jeremy Devine, VP of Marketing for MMI. “Installing MX4D is consistent with our ongoing commitment to offer the best cinematic experience around,” stated Cineplexx CEO Christian Langhammer.
