A collection of around 1,000 pinball and video games made an appearance in  the world’s largest gathering of machines at the ReplayFX exhibition in Pittsburgh, US.  The Replay F X is a public gathering dedicated to pinball, video games, music, and family fun from July 26 to 29 in the David L Lawrence Convention Center in the city.  The show is being produced by the Replay Foundation, which also runs the Professional & Amateur Pinball Association brand and its associated events.

Over 20,000 visitors from countries across the globe attended the event.

The Replay Foundation exists to both preserve and celebrate pinball, video games, and the history that surrounds tech and gaming culture.  Most of the machines was displayed by The Replay Foundation, although individuals are permitted to bring their own under certain circumstances.  The machines on display ranged from the very earliest, restored examples right through to modern releases but there were also hundreds of games consoles.  Also, “the largest pinball tournament in history” and a variety of competitions with over US$100,000 in prizes was held in the event.
