The groundbreaking ceremony of Rizhao Kaiyuan Senpo Holiday Park project was held on 22nd March 2021. With an investment of US$7.64 billion, the project mainly includes water parks and a children’s park in tropical rainforest style. Located in the east of Xinbihai road and the south of Rizhao Ocean Park, the project, developed by New Century Tourism Group, covers an area of 90,000 sq.m. It contains a centralized hotel with 300 guest rooms, an outdoor water park, an indoor water park of 12,000 sq.m, a market square of 6,000 sq.m, and 100 sets of themed cabins. It will build a “Hotel+Parks” comprehensive leisure resort, bringing a new vacation style for tourists. In addition, it provides a year-round constant 30℃ temperature water park, outdoor exploration and recreation areas, local food, and other leisure activities to visitors. (2021/05, 196G)
