Macau’s Studio City launched a new family-entertainment focused water park on May 22, 2021. On the day of opening, a 20-meter high five-slide tower called “The Highpoint Twister” and a giant golden bucket “Golden Bucket” met the thrilling needs of players of all ages. According to the official release, the brand new water park is part of the second phase development of Studio City and is the only water park in Macau. Other parts of this phase are currently under construction, including a cineplex, restaurants, and exhibition (MICE) space. Chairman and chief executive officer of Melco International, said that there will be about 900 luxury rooms and suites in phase two, which means that the number of rooms at the Studio City’s hotel will increase by about 60%.(2021/05, 196G)
