Guangzhou Children’s Park is located in Baiyun New City, on the west of Baiyun Mountain, which is also next to the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, No. 5 parking apron, Wanda Plaza, Guangzhou Baiyun Green Land Center and other large commercial buildings. Covering an area of 230,000 sq.m, the park was open to the public in 2014 and has become one of the large public green spaces in Baiyun District with a completed transportation network. According to the latest announcement of Guangzhou Children's Park Expansion Project, the park will be expanded to 260,000 square meters, and will be able to accommodate 5,000 visitors at one time.

The project is planned to add a children’s football field, a Wizard of Oz area, viewing area, splash pad, East Gate, and other facilities into the park. In addition, there are also some upgrades of the original children’s service center, South Gate, monitoring center, exhibition center, pumping station and the shop. Reportedly, all the construction will be completed in 2021. And some Lingnan designs will also be added into the park to make it more vivid and attractive. Based on the theme of “innovation, technology, fashion, intelligence”, Guangzhou Children’s Park will be a multi-functional, public and experiential education demonstration base after the expansion.
