WhiteWater opens office in Munich, Germany |
To expand its business in Europe, the Canada based attraction company WhiteWater, has opened a new European office in Munich, Germany. The new office will focus on implementing a new strategy for the region, led by Rainer Maelzer. The expanded team will include business development managers, designers, slide path engineers, project managers, site supervisors, and after-sales specialists.
The group is expanding its presence not just for Europe, but taking in Russia and Africa with the opening. The company took the step because of the increase in large privately-operated indoor and outdoor water and theme parks.
“The opening of the new office,” said Maelzer, “is a great demonstration of our dedication to the region. We wanted to have a local European full-service company to underpin our corporate strategy of supporting locals with locals.” Vice president Grant Poje will remain in Barcelona, Spain.
