The past year of 2020 was difficult for many people. The outbreak of COVID-19 has brought significant damage to the global economy and industries, while humans have also realized the fragility of life and witnessed the love and devotion of our medical care personnel. Although the small-scale epidemic appeared again in winter, with measures like city lock downs and the suspension of business and flights again, fortunately, the advent and application of vaccines has brought the dawn of anti-epidemic work and hope to the market.
In 2021, we believe that the economy will gradually recover because the epidemic will eventually be over. As long as life continues, people’s demand for procurement and entertainment will not stagnate. The phenomenon of explosive consumption and purchasing after the slowing down outbreak enables us to look forward to a "V-shaped" reversal of the global economy this year. Also, it is strongly believed that our game and amusement industry can also rebound from the depression.
At this moment of crisis and turnaround, GTI will try its best to make a contribution to the recovery and promotion of the game and amusement industry. GTI has been committed to building an open platform for trade communication through exhibitions, magazines, and websites. The two GTI expos respectively are GTI Asia Taipei Expo on July 8-10 and GTI Asia China Expo on September 9-11 this year. Launched in 1993, GTI Asia China Expo is an exhibition with rich contents and emphasis on original products, ranging from gaming and entertainment to online products. GTI Asia Taipei Expo 2021 is the 27th one to be held at the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). As the most professional and profitable exhibition in Mainland China, GTI Asia China Expo focuses on 5 areas of amusement park equipment, video games, water park equipment, children's amusement equipment, and VR/AR/MR, and has been extended this year to two special zones: IP licensing zone and cultural tourism theme zone. It will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou in September.
2021 is the "Year of the Ox" in China. On the occasion of the arrival of the Chinese Spring Festival, GTI would like to extend our best New Year greetings to readers and industry leaders around the world. We wish you a healthy, safe, and prosperous new year. Let’s conquer challenges and obtain a great many harvests together.
