Qingdao Andersen Paradise, located in Pingdu City, Qingdao, Shandong Province, was officially opened to the public on September 30, 2020. As one of the key projects of Pingdu government, with a total investment of 0.44 billion USD, Qingdao Andersen Paradise is jointly built by Shanghai WoodStone Corporation and Shanghai Andersen Paradise. The park’s name comes from the surname of "Father of the World Children's Literature and Danish Fairy Tale Master, Hans Christian Andersen." Authorized by the Danish official representative, Qingdao Andersen Paradise provides visitors with the immersive experience of traveling in a Fairy Tale Kingdom that is combined with advanced digital technology, power facilities, water facilities, non-power facilities, themed buildings, themed landscape zone, cute pets, and competition amusement, to name a few. It is reported that during the two Chinese vacations "Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day", the park’s four areas including amusement equipment area like Thumbelina and Her Friends, Tin Solider War, Torque Burnout, Dream Carousel, Brave Frog, Thumbelina’s Party, Speed Tin Soldier, Pets Tribe area, Nordic Performance area, Food Market area were all opened to the public.
