The “Action Plan for Accelerated Investment” of Taiwan’s economic department InvesTaiwan gave permission to the application of Paokai on October 29, 2020 to invest more than NT$600 million to establish an intelligent production line in Taiwan.  
The director-general of InvesTaiwan M. P. Chang said that Paokai is the top exporter of commercial video game machine industry in Taiwan. More than 90% of its turnover comes from exports. Its products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions around the world. Japan and the Americas are its largest consumer markets. It is in a leading position in the world of game machine sales.
According to a report by China Times, Paokai has a very high market share in the Japanese market. It is the only company in Taiwan that has introduced commercial game machines into Japan. It can be said that 2 to 3 of every 10 new claw machines in Japan are from Paokai, which can even rival the world's major manufacturers SEGA and NAMCO.
Considering that the traditional game machine industry mostly relies on manual control procedures, it is difficult to achieve economic scale. In order to increase production capacity and meet the diverse needs of customers, Paokai applied for an investment of more than NT$600 million to build a new production line in the Kaohsiung Hofa Industrial Park. In the factory area of the original Dafa Industrial Zone, a smart paint production line was added and smart monitoring equipment was introduced to continue to promote the innovation of the electronic game machine industry.
