Universal Beijing Resort will start trial operations in the first half of 2021. After the trial run, an official opening date will be set in May next year. The resort will be built in three phases. The first phase of the park is expected to receive 12 million to 15 million visitors per year, and the third phase of the park will be a water park. At present, all kinds of amusement equipment in the first phase are being installed and adjusted. With an area of 100.61 hectares, the first phase of the park includes Hollywood Boulevard, Kung Fu Panda, Jurassic World, Transformers, Future Water World, Harry Potter, and Million Land, along with a support area and a 3-type energy center. It is reported that the core buildings that have been formally completed and handed over include technical service building, retail warehouse, data center, and fire pump room. Among them, the technical service building is mainly used for maintenance and overhaul of amusement equipment throughout the park. The construction of the support area is completed, which represents that Universal Beijing Resort has officially entered the stage of construction and pre-operation. (2020/09, 190G)
