It is reported that Joypolis Sega will be introduced to Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. With the total construction area of 180,000 sq. m, the whole project is positioned as a top international theme park. Besides having one of the world's three major theme parks - Joypolis Sega, the construction will include Hong Kong-listed company - China Animation, Himalayan Voice Library, children's IP theme hotel, Youku Sports Channel VR E-sports Base, Guangdong New Style Food Court sponsored by renowned gourmet Zhuang Chen, and the first Mingtianying Theater in China which will combine theater and cinema. In the future, the area will become a regional animation and amusement sci-tech innovation industrial zone in south China, integrating upstream and downstream industries such as animation and IP innovation research center, digital entertainment base, VR/AR research center, micro film base, sci-tech platform, science and innovation talent training base, sci-tech investment and financing platform.
