A new 'Total Wipeout' style inflatable water park opened on 25 May 2019. The giant water playground features climbing walls, trampolines, balancing bars, rockers, rollers and blast bags, similar to the inflatable obstacles used for the popular TV show Total Wipeout, hosted by Richard Hammond. The attraction has been hotly anticipated by those looking to cool off since it was announced in February. The aqua park will operate with timed sessions throughout the day and will include a 10 minute safety briefing before sessions begin.

Children must be aged eight and older and be more than 1.2 metres tall (3.9 feet) while special sessions will be held for six and seven-year-olds. Youngsters aged eight to 15 must have a responsible adult on the shore for the duration of the session. All customers must be able to swim at least 50 metres unaided but wearing one of the buoyancy vests provided. Free parking and changing facilities with lockers for valuables are available along with food and drink at the Waterfront Cafe and Boat House Bistro on the water’s edge. (2019/6, No. 176GTI)
