P350M Jolly Waves Water Park and Resort debuts in the Philippines |
The 4.6-hectare Jolly Waves Water Park and Resort in Calapan City, Philippines, is now open. The P350 million facility features multiple water slides, a wave pool, ziplines, a water playground and a lazy river. It also offers cabanas, function rooms, a pool bar and a food park. The waterpark owned by businessman Jolly Ting opened to the public on 18 May in this city. Calapan mayor Arnan Panaligan, during the waterpark’s blessing ceremony on 18 May, said it is a boost not only to Calapan’s tourism but to Oriental Mindoro province as well. The park is added to Oriental Mindoro’s tourist destinations, which include Puerto Galera and Bulalacao, the southernmost town in the province. (2019/6, No. 176GTI)
