Recently, the development and reform commission of Guangzhou issued the  "Key Project Construction Plan 2019" and "2019 Key Preparatory Project Plan of Guangzhou", with 592 construction projects and planned investment of more than 300 billion yuan (45 billion USD)! In addition, the website of The People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality issued a notice of Development and Reform Commission of Guangzhou on the Issuance of Key Project Plans of Guangzhou in 2019.  There are several key plans in the document, including the announcement that the Evergrande Fairyland project will be constructed.  At present, the project is in the early stage of construction, with a planned investment of 20 million yuan (3 million USD) in 2019.

It is reported that the owner of this project is Guangzhou Cultural Tourism Development Co. Ltd., and the department in charge is the government of Nansha District.  According to the document, the park will be built from 2020 to 2023 with a total investment of 4.9 billion yuan (731 million USD).  The project will include an indoor water park and a cultural entertainment city, etc., to build into the world's top indoor fairyland for all seasons and all weathers.  Among them, the first phase mainly includes the construction of amusement rides in the mysterious ancient country zone and theme parks.  Currently, in addition to Sunflower Garden, there is a lack of large theme parks in Nansha District.  The project of Nansha Evergrande Fairyland will be an addition of large theme park in Nansha.
