Building A Bridge for the Industry –Golden Future Banquet: Sino-India Business Dinner

■Asu Su/ Carrie Chan

On September 13, GTI organizing committees jointly with IAAPI Association held a networking dinner at Royal Marina Plaza, Panyu District, Guangzhou.  Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, the president of IAAPI, Mr. Anil Padwal, the general secretory of IAAPI, Mr. Thomas Liu, the chief organizing committee of GTI Asia China Expo, together with 20+ representatives from Arccer, (Huatai) Baishun, Song Wang, Zhanhui, Nitto Fun, Superboy, Yuan Gong, DoDo Bird, Bee Animation, Leqi, Yuehua, Keku and other Chinese industrial companies were invited to attend the dinner and enjoy an animated talk about the business opportunities and the prospects for cooperation between China's and India's game & amusement market.

Mr. Thomas and Mr. Sharma addressed during the dinner.

How is it possible to take advantage of China's “Belt and The Road” policy and hit the key spot of two countries’ game and amusement market to open the international market successfully?  Mr. Sharma shared the opportunities of Indian market with all the attendees in details.

“Till now, the Indian game & amusement industry including amusement parks, theme parks, water parks, FEC and other sessions is valued at about USD 325 million, and will reach up to USD1 billion in the next 5 years.  Of this, the share held by Chinese suppliers is about USD 50-60 million.  So India is a big potential market for all of you ”, said by Mr. Sharma.  He also shared an example with manufacturers: “I have a friend working as a shipping agent.  Recently, he personally dealt with 60 cabinets for indoor game products from China to India.  And there are hundreds of such examples in India.  You can imagine the quantity and amount of the Chinese products exported to India.”

Numerous exhibitors together with Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Mr. Anil Padwal and Mr. Thomas Liu gathered to exchange idea towards China and India markets.
Mr. Sharma also mentioned “The advantages of Chinese products are high-technology, innovation, good finish and cost-effective. If Chinese amusement equipment enters into India, it will attract lots of Indian buyers. Here, I sincerely invite all of the Chinese manufacturers to IAAPI Expo.  I believe that you will gain a lot from it.”  “The headquarters of IAAPI is in Mumbai.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact IAAPI.  We will endear to help you.  At last, thanks to the organizer of GTI Asia China Expo for making this dinner come true!” added by Mr. Sharma.

Mr. Thomas Liu from GTI expressed, “This is a relaxing dinner.  Everyone can sit down to not only explore the new opportunities of the industry but also broaden your contacts around the industry and share resources together. Here, please allow me to represent GTI Asia China Expo organizing committees to show our sincere gratitude to all the attendees!”

GTI Sino-India Business Dinner is the result of the international impact of GTI Asia China Expo.  It is GTI’s small step for global insiders to build a more specific business exchange platform, which gained considerable effectiveness and won appreciation from attendees.  GTI will keep on providing a more effective, specific, and wider platform for China manufacturers as usual!  Stay tuned!
