September 21, Shimao Pit Hotel disclosed some details about its construction for the first time in the 8th Songjiang Travel Promotion Conference.  According to the report, a comic theme park is also being created and is expected to open in 2018.  Now, they are constructing glass walls and decorating the interior of the hotel, and it is hoped to complete the construction and begin trial operation on May 30, 2018.

In addition, the hotel has an outdoor amusement park, providing entertainment facilities including climbing, glass skywalk, and a ropeway across the entire pit.  With an area of 22,000 square meters, a comic theme park will also be built, which is expected to welcome up to 500,000 people per year, making 350 million RMB in annual income.
